Even a grill can be cause for concern at this time. we are as dry as it gets and have dense vegetation making for the potential for a massive wildfire.

Lauren didn't know about closing the grill so the coals could heat up properly and it wouldn't look like a fire from the road. 😆. She is trying and that is what matters. I hope you have learned the right way to handle a grill Lauren.

The first time I used my Treager, my neighbor called in a panic, thinking the house was on fire. We still get a laugh from that one. I'd rather have the fire chief come check out what's going on than my home. Really, be on fire and no one calls.

that happened to us, it took us forever to figure out what house the fire was at until I asked the fire department if they were talking about us cooking lol, told them I would take it down, with the spritzer bottle of apple juice for the butt we were smoking

ok the only thing I can quess it that a passing vehicle saw the smoke in front of the cars but couldn't see the grill so in order to save the family from losing their cars/house to a fire called 911 and reported a fire. if I saw a big puff of smoke I'd call 911 thou I'd also stop and race to the house and see if there was anyone inside so they could escape.
Some people have to have drama in their life, it is the only thing they know that makes them happier about them selves ,is when other people are caught up in their drama🤔

Last time I reported a fire, the FD gave me a hard time about it (Marion County, FL) So, I decided I would never call them again for any reason, even if someone's house is burning down or car on fire. I'll just get out my lawn chair and watch it burn.
