People experiencing a sudden terrifying situation do some crazy things. I remember reading about a man whose house went up in flames. He managed to save his wife and. children. He even hauled out the family pets. Where things took a twist is what he chose to save out of all his wordly pocessions. Of all the things he could have grabbed, his wallet, important papers, a blanket, food, cloths, so many options, he grabbed the remote for the TV .

I suspect this is a tributary of Tokyo Bay which has a mini tsunami every day when the tide changes. there are several places throughout the world that have the same thing happen.
They're used to this & was prepared to run. They knew what to do. If he doesn't grab his chair, it will be washed away by the water. This wave can be created from a motorboat, jet ski, ski doo, or a barge. This is very common at some lakes while fishing. 👍
