The question is . . . why did they let it get so long in the first place.
I am heartbroken for this little one! I thought this was a little girl and they were cutting her hair. My father would’ve flipped out if my mom did this to us! But even still, this kid being a little boy had comfort in his hair. They could’ve trimmed it a little at a time so he got used to having it a little shorter… but there’s nothing wrong if guys want to have longer hair it’s actually attractive!! You see some of the Viking warriors and Middle Eastern Warriors they all thrived with long hair, quite handsome! Arabic soldiers, and native Indians!! But this was traumatic to watch and I’m sure for him to have it happen! 😢
Would have been less traumatizing if they didn't let it grow that long to begin with but started cutting it earlier in child's life. Just my opinion. 🤔
That kid is behaving like a BRAT!! He needed to be told by his parents to stop all that nonsense!! (OR, he'd get his butt paddled!! You know, as the Bible says, "Spare the ROD and spoil the child!!")

My now 17 year old I had his hair cut at 3 he got totally traumatized by the guy who did wouldn't let us get it cut again until he was 10 and he donated for a wog for a friend of his she had cancer she passed when they we 12. he's never let us get it cut ever since he said he'd only ever had it cut for her and I cried my heart out when he said that.
that's so wrong...I have a son and from birth I let his hair grow very long I would take care of his hair not his momma and definitely not that moron barber if that were to be my son I would have lost my mind if someone would have cut my baby's beautiful hair...

You know, I've thought about this child and his reaction to having a haircut. WHY is he so upset?? Does Daddy have long hair?? Does he have Sisters with long hair?? Does Mom have long hair?? Is he an only child that has always been given his own way?? Is Mom pregnant and now just CAN'T take care of Junior's hair (with him being fussy) in her current state?? We really don't have the details to make ANY judgements about this child. My first reaction is that he has never been disciplined, otherwise, why would he be allowed to behave like this in public. But who knows.... I surely don't. If we knew the answers to these questions, it would be easier to make a decision about what is going on...
I hope they donated his gorgeous hair to make wigs for pediatric cancer patients. Just saying I hope they didn’t just trash it.

This was obviously a traumatic event for this guy, so I’m sure there was a better way to go about it! As long as the hair was they could have asked him to donate it to cancer patients for a wig, and he might have felt good about it… Speaking of Jesus’ long hair, does anybody remember the story of Sampson and Delilah?

This is a very trmatic expirence they should have taken the time to explain the process maybe just visit the shop sit there several times. Encourage the child to donate the hair making him feel special And if that doesn’t work wack it off while he is sleeping
