I did this with my three I allowed their dad to get them for their spring break he called and told me he was not bringing them bk I went and got my kids. Only difference was we were divorced and I have sole custody of my kids I was not trying to be a bitter mother n keep them from their dad despite our differences but because he wanted to be nasty I was able to be escorted by the police to his home he was arrested for child kidnapping bc he went against divorce orders amongst other charges. I never allowed my kids to go with him unsupervised again. They didn't even wanna go bk with him anyways bc he mistreated them while they were in his care.
