As a mother of a son, I wouldn't want my son to greet me over his wife and child. That is your family now. I was his provider and teacher and will love him till I die. But his next chapter in life has come and in which I'm just an extra character that comes into the scene once in awhile. As it should be. My home will always have open doors and arms for him but I'm not the most important anymore. As it should be.
