This is very important. Especially for Military diverse. When I went to special forces scuba school down in Key West Florida I could have used this type of knife. Late one evening on a night compass dive they dropped us out 1200 m you have to come out on the shore within 100 m between two poles. About halfway through my timed dive at about 25 feet I encountered at hammer head shark at first swipe it was trying to fill me out. But since it was winter time, it brushed up against my wetsuit and couldn’t determine if I was praying on its second time around. I was already sitting on the ocean floor with my Dive Buddy back to back and our knives drawn. When it came back, I did stab it in the eyeball and it kept twisting and fighting with me. My buddy reached over and stepped it on top of the head. It was the only encounter with a shark that I had in my 27 years as a special operator.
