my man stayed with me for 2 weeks after the baby. He only left to go to the store. That's it. He loved staying with us. It's helps keep from getting post partum depression and let's you sleep a bit more. Why do men want to just leave anyways? Those first Two months is the most important time to bond with your new baby. And also he should not be going out he can catch something he can give to the baby. Some adults colds and flus kill babies.

That young man does indeed have his wits about him, but she should have just said "no" if she rather he did not go. I have no knowledge if that is their one and only child, I can see if she doesn't want to be left home. He should offer to watch the baby while she gets some time getting out of the house before he tries to go out with his buddies. It kinda turns the tables, she can't really be mad if she's already had some time off. Of course, I don't know their family dynamic, or who spends how much time doing what, it seems they do have a good relationship, but maybe a lesson for other young men reading this comment.

She said to go so what’s the problem. My father used to play kind games with my mom. She would go out to the movies and with a friend and the minute she got home it was like everything bad happened. He had her feeling so bad so to keep the peace she stopped going with her friend which was only about 1 time a year. My friend’s husband was the same exact way. It was all about control. She said it was fine, so go. When she has an issue then it’s her problem!
