I was taught survival training 600 miles deep into the Yukon in Canada. bears heartbeat 10 to 12 a minuite. if he had a gun and the bear was over 15 feet away you blow it's limbs off and don't go for the heart. within 15 feet you freeze and stare STRAIGHT INTO ITS BUT BUT DONT MOVE 1 BIT and the bear will back down. he will got about 20 to 30 yards stop, turn and growl at you then continue on.

I would have crapped my pants if a bear had been in my garage and then it acts like it's going to come after me I would have been screaming and my first thing would I would have gotten in that car sitting right there I'm no no smacking at it and all that stuff I would have jumped right in that car right there if it was unlocked he's crazy I think this is fake too cuz if that bear wanted to go after him he would and he didn't!! and chilling it would be the last thing I'd even want to do that's pretty dumb there's no way in the world I'd kill that beautiful creature not at all!!!

The stupidity and ignorance of some of these comments are unbelievable. Anytime a video like this appears, it is automatically deemed to be fake. The excuse that it is fake because there are multiple camera angles, and it pans on the action is not valid. There are some very sophisticated (and expensive) systems available today. So this is very possible. The man's initial response to the presence of the bear is not fake. And his actions after that are not what a person with a "pet bear" would typically do. If it was a pet, the owner would most likely greet it with a pat on the head and a treat.
