Walked into a restaurant in NH with my brother, and two white friends. We had reservations and the dinner was already paid for from my friend’s dad. They wouldn’t sit us because my friends were white, but we were of color. My friends didn’t understand but we did. Barely got out the door with our lives. Told my brother go get the car & tried to get our friends out of there. I had to say out loud they will not serve us because we are black we need to go now ‼️ It’s not always about owning slaves. It’s about how people treat people because of the color of their skin. You don’t have to worry about it because you’ve NEVER faced racism. There are people of color missing, TODAY‼️‼️Found hanging from trees and explained as suicide. Lies‼️‼️‼️Sundown towns, now communities point blank out there saying this is an all white community. I dare someone white to color your skin and live what we live for one year. I don’t think you would last a week

Only 5% of the population has ancestors who were involved in slavery. The majority of our ancestors either fought against it or came here after after the Civil War. But you can't tell ignorant people anything.
