I should have sued in the 1970’s for being erroneously arrested, and being thrown to the ground, handcuffed, and maced, because I “matched the description”. The judge released me the following day, because it was a false arrest. This has been going on for a few hundred years.

The cop pointed in a direction of the store (the victim) from which the accused would have fled. Ask yourself, why he flee the scene of the crime & turn around and return in the direction of his "escape". There is absolutely no chance that the cop will be promoted to investigator!
We have a constitution for a reason. and I can tell you one thing if I get accused of stealing for no reason and get arrested, you can bet your ass I’m gonna sue guaranteed it.

I’ll never get these people saying that officers can’t detain them for fitting a suspects description..and then people say when something bad happens (like a shooting) well, that person looked suspicious why didn’t the cops stop and talk to them? Smfh people we can’t have it both ways. 🙄

cops are pigs but it's strange how "law suits" like this r 50 mil. but when somebody is terminated unlawfully it's 100 grand,,, is there any truth to these multi million dollar suits ? sadly nothing usually occurs to the pig, paid time off is what most call vacation.
