Michael was the one and only 👍🏼 I’m a 70 yr old white woman and my kids crack up when one of his songs start causing I’m singing along every word. Very few will ever have that kind of talent!👍🏼🙏🏼
Mikey had to practice. The guy from 1943 is all rhythm and heart. Now we know where mj got his ideas. There’s always someone who came first
Stop, get help. you don't know if he ever saw this guy dance. I love how some people always try to downplay everything that African Americans accomplish!
Michael never kept it a secret. He always credited those who came before him. Sammy Davis Jr., Cab Callaway, Fred Astaire, James Brown. As a child he studied their showmanship then blended it with his own unique skills and abilities. All the greats looked to those who came before them, passing down the tradition of art and dance to the next generation. There are many young talented ppl currently taking dance to the next level, using Micheal as their inspiration.
Michael Jackson created the moonwalk ain't nobody else recreated it it's an original artifact 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😎
That was not Bill Robinson in b/w picture. Someone half his age, real Bill...
there should be a list of all the parents that let their children sleep with him and they should all be arrested
Does anyone know who the gentleman is in the 1943 video?
Michael studied Fred Astair for his moves, not this guy, but thanks for the comparisons.
what movie, show, concert, commercial did this video come from let's Google this and find out the truth if this is actually true because you cannot believe everything you see on social media these days everybody lies for fame or destroy somebody's name let's not judge before you know the facts I personally don't know nobody besides Michael Jackson that did that type of dance but if you tell me I will Google it cuz I want to know the truth now
MJ was a triple threat and no one will ever come close to his talent!!!!
😆Old moves makes New moves SMOOTH!! hey!! hey!!!😆😆
Not necessarily that he got those moves from the 1940s. the Bible says there is nothing new under the sun. People, time, trends, styles, repeat themselves over time. And I believe that he was fascinated with children because he never got to be a kid. I believe that it had more to do with extortion than molestation. Whatever the case. His life was a sad example of what living life to please man instead of God can lead to..SMH
It came naturally to Michael. He was a born entertainer and excelled past all expectations. We'll never have another anywhere close to his talent.
Dancing is ancestoral, there's nothing new under the sun! Whatever you do someone's done it before.
If some one coild find this from 1943, could some one please find Flip Wilson with his Geraldine!??!! I used to love watching on the variety shows in the 1950s. Ed Sulllivan, Perry Como, Milton Burl. I don't think he was on Arthur Godfrey or Lawrence Welk But I really really can't remember what I saw him on the most. But it seemed like he made the circut. Another possibility might be Diana Shore or Dean Martin. I have never seen any one imitate him or seen any reruns of him. He may have been controversial for his time. But I always thought he was a great comedian.
HE THE GOAT..WAS A PERFECT STUDY OF FORMER DANCERS..MJ FOREVER🕺🏽❤️🕺🏽❤️🕺🏽❤️🕺🏽❤️🕺🏽❤️🕺🏽❤️🎤🎼🎤🎼🎤🎼
It doesn't matter where he got the moves or if they were his ..no one did it better than Michael Jackson. he was entertainment body ,mind and soul. No one will ever touch this man. Beautiful inside and out
MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄🎁
he was a pedophile
STILL THA ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 💯
No denying same style ! WOW ! I like the 1943 version so much better. That dudes got moves ! Jackson must have had to practice really hard to learn something that came natural, for the other dancer in 1943. He's so much better looking !
True Rhythm!!🎵
Watch bob fosse as the snake in little prince
🙄. Just another example is any random post causing controversial arguments about nothing. 🤨 It’s all for the sake of the argument. In other words, Who cares if MJ copied his moves from this 1940’s dancer? Does anyone really care? Or y’all just wanting to argue about trivial crap? Was it copyrighted? 🤷🏻 Both dancers did it well. If you like it, just enjoy it. If not, just move on. ✌🏻😉🤚
love him and miss you much🥰🥰
MJ SAID HE STUDIED OLD DANCERS 💕
And this proves my point that although Michael Jackson was a fabulous performer, there have been thousands of performers that can and have done what he did!!!
“ I met a man “ Bojangles””, remember the song? He was real!
What people don't understand is the difference in that 5 decades. The man before MJ was forced to perform as a character as a show to appease "certain people". Who supposedly deemed their worth?Based on their performance. yes, MJ had similar struggles. However, it was a totally different time. He pushed through that. And it allowed. For the greatness, we all know today to shine through 💯
Now look you tell me that blacks aren’t the ones that has been hated on because oh having so much talent, bodies can move with music and to any beats, and on tune. It would have been called all kind of names knowing that for decades that was one of the main things that certain ones with no rhythm at all wanted to mock . Absolutely amazing art to see this thank you whoever pisted it 🙏🏼
At the end did they switch the years around🤔
💯🔥💯🔥
and no Michael Jackson did not invent the moonwalk
Our ancestors are always handing down their talents for us to take up the reins
The Brothers Passed It On! !!!! And So Did Michael R.I.P.💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
🥺MJ put his own trust to the moves that's it and preferred it it's not exactly the same at all . go MJ ..
Ok everyone knows where he got a lot of his dance moves ! He’s not the only one who have stolen other people ideals ! Stealing been happening for centuries still goes on today!
It doesn't matter where he got them from,he practiced and used them, and did them and became famous.Period
All performers and talented people stand on the shoulder of giants. Nothing wrong about that.
we black people knew MJ got his moves from other black men and honored both
suit he wearing looks clean. better fit than what they wearing today!!!
The other guy did it, but Michael perfected it!!!
Billy Bailey baby
There was always someone before them that they looked up to.
the LA backside
Wow
Wow! 80 years ago!
Michael Jackson is our family from way back when
🥰 love his dance moves and his music too
well I know Robert from the training courses here in Little Rock well now then one's useing equipment to pull out my memory from me look at the past lead agent Robert at the agency here in Little Rock Arkansas pick up the old folders on it all too back home in Johnson county years ago more of it all Robert to lot's of victims now more than years ago 🙏🙏
So who is the guy from 1943? What is his name?
Those lyrics are evil, mother should of warned him about fornications, that will get anyone thrusted down to hell (2nephi9:36)
Everything is an improvement and derivative. That's why we have RESOURCES not sources and why we applaud resourcefulness and not sourcefullness
It's no secret who MJ's inspirations were.
TRUE STORY: BACK IN 1995 Michael Jackson was at a rehearsal when one of his staff members came up to him and whispered something in his ear... Michael left there so fast because what he was told was "little boy's pants were half off down at Macy's!"
Me too
Love it
Everyone picks up someone elses moves, and turns them into their own..MJ was a superstar, because he worked SO HARD at his craft, both singing and dancing. He was an entertainer, 100% of the time.
Yep Bill Bailey was Definitely ahead of his time... But Authors of Greatest are always resurrected and I'll leave it at that... XRCR
That was so genius of Michael to incorporate and update his moves from our heritage. Michael put color and hus own frill to make it his.
Interesting 🤔
🥰
MJ version was far more better
💕💕💕💕💕👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I just love this
