legally you pass one car at a time. most are in such a hurry they pass multiple vehicles, now that is illegal. I mean the driving books are there for a reason.

He did nothing wrong. He was passing. It was not a solid yellow line. Those were broken yellow lines. That means passing is allowed. He might’ve been speeding, but he did nothing wrong there.

You're not allowed to exceed the speed limit in order to pass vehicles that are doing the actual speed limit. That's why he got pulled over.

He was in a passing zone but he couldn’t have passed all the vehicles before he got hit by the on coming vehicle making a very dangerous mistake. 🤔
The car didn’t look like he was going 90 or anything, but he def didn’t have time to overtake that whole line like he was thinking.

The driver lacked visibility, No telling how long this pattern was going on in the officers rear view, it could be considered reckless driving. I've seen reckless drivers coming my way from major distances, it appears to me this could be the case.
Its obvious the gap this car was gonna need to clear before oncoming traffic he would have needed to exceed 30+ mph faster then traffic. So he went to gun it then seen the cop, how tight they were and how many cars he would need to gap. He would be cutting it close with his high speed imo. Just bad luck on the driver lol

Those are broken/separated yellow lines, so you have every right to psss as many cars, as is safe to do so. Only when there are solid yellow lines, are you not permitted to do so. Another tip: If there are solid yellow lines and the driver in front of you is turning right; you can legally pass or go around the vehicle as long, of course, as it's safe to do so.
