They wanted to get rid of him and they knew that offering $15.00 an hour would cause him to quit...kind of a dirty passive deal. Who paid him $200 an hr in the 1st place,? That's where the problem started. I don't about employment laws in that state but they might have something to say about it if he has been having good reviews . They probably blew that this would be the reaction and since he quit rather than being fired they don't have to pay unemployment..
Yeah you know what kind of crap a city lawyer has to deal with? That's why big cities have law departments like NYC and LA, small towns can't afford that so they hire a local lawyer and hope for the best.
