People that have dry eyes, seem to be prone to getting it. I have dry eyes and I get it often. It's nothing of concern. Just a product of having dry eyes. It's called eye mucus. The black color is nothing but eye make up that spreads to the corner of the eye.

The slightest piece of lint gets in my eyes and I'm going ballistic trying to get it out. I can't imagine pulling a long-haired from my head out! I think I would feel that immediately!

I dont wear eyeliner, but I do wear mascara about 1 time a week. Im bad about washing my makeup off before I go to bed, even though Im an Aesthetician. Even after washing and removing mascara It's still in my eyes. I flush my eyes in the shower and it removes the junk from my eyes. But, it dries my eyes out and I need to use moisturizing drops; good ones, not the cheap drops.
that is the most satisfying thing I do after a girl night of fun falling asleep wit eyeliner on and that gook ya get to take out in the morning when you wake up...awwww now I can see😆
