I have been reading the comments and I think i understand that this man is a true hero who went out and caught pedophiles. For this the world owes him an enormous thank you. And then for some reason he broke a whole slew of laws in the Philippines and ended up with a long prison sentence. only he knows why he did all of this. As a mother, I think they should have taken the good he did into consideration. I agree with the gentleman earlier in the comments, pedophiles get a slap on the wrist then go after more children. it's sickening. instead of some of the stupid political arguments on here, that should be a large part of the discussion. Our politics here have nothing to do with this story
Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, better known as VitalyzdTv, is a Russian-born YouTuber and internet content creator known for his prank videos and publicity stunts. However, his actions have often led to arrests and legal trouble. Currently, Vitaly is in the custody of the Philippine government after being arrested in April 2025 for livestreaming disruptive and illegal activities in Metro Manila. These activities included harassing security guards and passersby, attempting to grab a security guard's firearm, stealing a patrol motorcycle, stealing an electric fan from a restaurant and taking it into a hotel, threatening to rob a woman in public, trespassing and recording people without consent, fabricating negative reviews about local businesses, vandalism, unjust vexation (a criminal offense in the Philippines akin to harassment), burglary, theft, and alarm and scandal. He is facing several charges, including three counts of unjust vexation, for which he could face up to 18 months in prison if convicted. His deportation has been put on hold because both Russia and the United States have declined to accept him. Vitaly's legal team attempted to have the charges dropped in May 2025, citing "mental health reasons", but this request was declined by the Interior Secretary of the Philippines. He was initially transferred to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in June 2025, but was granted bail and moved back to the Bureau of Immigration detention facility in Camp Bagong Diwa,
