I am truly amazed at the anti police rhetoric by some of the comments posted here. The officer was responding to a call about some possible “creepy” behavior and just imagine if he didn’t respond and a horrible crime had been committed and then it would be “where are the cops when you need one and how is this possible?”
This time it’s the civilian who’s wrong. He’s looking to force a reaction.
There is reasonable suspicion of stalking when he filmed girls and followed them to their cars. How would that idiot like it if it happened to his daughter or other young relative?

He was the one that seemed escalating the conversation. The cop was calm, told him why was there a few times, gave him his name and radio # oh, I mean badge # a couple of times. Answer the questions creep or get arrested. The cop was more than patient with this idiot!

taking a video of girls and following them is very scary for the girls. the police were right in this case. often police are bullys but this is a different story. stalking the girls and following them is a serious thing. f it was my daughter I'd be glad thst police were present to prevent possible abduction or assault. this guy was doing something wrong. it was a suspicion of a crime in this case. think about it folks if ut were your sister or daughter you'd be glad the cop came to protect them.
Filming 🎥 people in PUBLIC is not stalking. Anyone can be photographed in the PUBLIC DOMAIN - 1ST AMENDMENT.

I feel this is why there is so much crap going on. People need to quit grabbing there cell phone and recording challenging officers. The disrespect of people is out of control! The officer walked up to this ass and try to explain he was called and why. instead of letting him finish and ask questions this ass turned the conversation totally around questioning the cops authority to the point the cop walked away. This guy was recording teenage girls and filmed as they left. if that was my teenage daughter I would want answers! if he had nothing to hide why not answer the questions and let the cop find out what was going on. In this case the cop was right. If a guy was following me to my car and video taping me I'd want the cops on his butt too.

I have to say that the police officer approached the guy unappropriately. No law against filming a trip to the park. Personally thee young girls were probably filming themselves for tik tok. Don't dance in the park if you don't want to draw attention.
