If I’m not mistaken “spearing” is highly frowned upon on the field as lowering the helmet can potentially break your neck and hurt others seriously. I’m not being a Karen that was an absolute mean play. Big man just needs to read the rules and school coaches and refs should further integrate the shoulder technique. I’ve had a buddy on my old team years ago left hurt for 5 years after he “speared” a linebacker thinking folding himself would deflect some of the force.
