correction. anyone who worked at an airport knows that's not true. the final flight of the night for a plane ground crew will lift the seats and open all the windows blinds before closing them again to make sure no unauthorized item is left on the plane that's why if you've ever had a 4-6am flight all the windows are down. its a security check before they take it to the hangers to be cleaned and the engines tuned. someone found her phone. and then called whatever emergency contact was there. or called the passengers in that seat. or the passenger told the airport. hey I left my phone. if the plane already took off again. and the new passenger didn't find it then it was turned into the flight crew.
