that's 🐂💩 you can see the flat sides with a knife have cut and a core to trim it down so it fits loosely enough to pull it out with the tip of the knife

The core looks to me like a peeler was used on the core and then placed back in to make it look that easy to get out. But either way it’s wasteful.
