Being educated is never a bad choice. This student will soon contribute back to society. It's called "a hand up," not a hand out. Education should be free to all those who want it. We would be much better off as a nation. I don't agree with Mr. Kirk. He shamed the student for going to college and using the opportunities that are available to him. Grants are earned through educational criteria. Just because Kirk chose not to go to college doesn't mean that others don't want to. Emphaty and kindness go a long way.

The student may have a scholarship provided by an alumni group or a community organization. Charlie dropped out. He is very defensive.
I paid for all of my college except for a couple of Pell Grants. I EARNED my GI Bill by serving in the US Navy for four years. I worked. I took out a couple of student loans when things got tight that I paid back real quickly when I got out of school. If you plan properly you don't have to rack up a whole lot of debt.

College is an indoctrination. It takes away common sense from the masses. That way, they're easier to control. I get it now. It took me awhile. But I finally get it.
you can hear how institutionalized these students are. “it’s like 5000 but you get a lot out of it”. you don’t. you get a piece of paper and no guarantee of a career while a kid his age is banking on social media.

Wow, my nephew paid back his student loan himself. He took a loan, graduated, and then worked every holiday and wherever they sent him. He paid back every cent. This kid in the video doesn't want to discuss his finances, so why did you step up to the mike. I wish I could have gone to FREE college.
