Take Note: White man is the only one that jumped in to help the black fella. All the coaches on the side line, nobody tried to throw an empty cooler, rope, jugs or flotation items
all the black people filming. and the white guy jumps in to save them
how nobody knows how to swim😭 wyd when the floods come for us😂
NEVER EVER EVER attempt to save a drowning person u less you have something that floats that you can give them before reaching them or you are 100% certain you can knock them out and return their unconscious self to land. If your not 100% absolutely undeniable without any doubt certain of one or better both, DO NOT go in, you will die also. The full video is one evidence-based example, they BOTH drowned and died.
wtf they in there the first place
People that can’t swim shouldn’t swim.
I read somewhere that this water was aerated, just coming off a waterfall or something. Aerated water is half air, so tou sink instead of float and its pretty much impossible to swim. So if that's true then these guys were struggling a lot harder than it looked.
I’m not sure how swimming isn’t automatically intuitive. Infants fresh out the womb can swim
just float??? its not rocket science!
This video will live in my head forever when I see someone in need. Sometimes you have to weigh the risk
A grown man that can’t swim will never make sense..
As a former lifeguard you never go straight in for them … they will automatically use you as leverage … it’s best to have two people go in for them so you both and hold the person with one arm from each swimmer or find something to try to fish them out with if you got nothing it may sound crazy but you gotta let them drown or pass out then immediately go for them as quick as possible … I’ve saved 4 people including a child
iron ducks. never fails
the fact everyone just standing there watching talking go get some help get a stick do something
I can’t believe nobody knows how to float anymore. I could float for hours.
So sad
They rather shoot each other then help
The one time a white guy died trying to save one of us
what I don't understand is why didn't the white guy jump in with something that they both can hold on to and that would keep their head above water at least an empty jug hell a 2-liter bottle would even work just put it under your chin so that hold your head above water
It’s common sense to float or swim
When you attempt to rescue someone drowning, you put their back to your chest with your arms under their armpits and you swim backwards keeping both of your heads above the water.
there was a person who explained the water in another post of the same unfortunate incident. The water has a certain density that makes it hard to swim or stay afloat in. Perhaps the reason why the gentleman was so willing to jump in was because he believed it to be a different buoyancy.
if you can’t swim stay away from water it’s really simple
This is at the foot of Ferry in Buffalo NY. I grew up around the corner. they were attempting to retrieve a log to carve in memory of the one guys son It's sad they both died as well as the son.
I can’t believe all those people and only one person tries to help. They should be ashamed of themselves
There is a log for someone to grab onto 🤔🤔
did they both survive?
dude he die????
That's sad 😭
Let em go
bruh
bye
Will never understand people who can't even float. Stop panicking just just lay on your back.
Why you never go to save someone that can't swim now you both gonna drown. Let that fool drown. no need for 2 funerals
I can't believe people just stood there telling. Jump the hell in and help!!! I jumped in a river that was half frozen to save a dog. I don't know how people can live with themselves.
Buffalo ny. I remember they both did drown
There is a darn LOG behind them both but I guess everyone on the top are blind!
It is amazing to see no one helping just recording
wow. they just allowed a man to drown while filming it. they all should go to jail except the man who tried to help.
When I was in boy scouts they warned about exactly what this guy said, and exactly what happened. The drowning man is panicking and will commonly push the rescuer under. They even had diagrams showing that when that happens, push further down away from the person and then swim away and up. Scary to watch
It's animal instincts to know how to swim
There was a whole log floating 🤦
Panic is what kills you. Stay Calm.... calmly move your legs & arms.....and you'll Float for days. I don't know how to swim, but I know how not to drown.
people are useless
I don’t understand how people can’t float I can’t sink i literally can’t sink I don’t get it
They actually teach in life rescue if someone is drowning and they’re bringing you down, you can actually knock them out
better to let him flot then take him out of the water better chance of both surviving #i did drown when I was a kid that's what they did for me
So he jumped in the water knowing damn well he couldn’t swim?🤦🏾♂️
