I quit and got fired from the same job at least five or six times over the years. I quit one Monday morning and by 9:00 I was back home drinking beer Read the paper on my front porch and the vice president showed up. He wanted me to come back to work the next day. He told me that my boss was no longer my boss and gave me a raise and I told him I'd be in next week. I wanted a few days off anyway. They needed me a lot worse and I needed them.
