So I read that .50 BMG ball will go through 36” of dry sandbags (I think it should be more since sandbags will likely take multiple hits. Twelve to 18 inches of reinforced concrete (that’s with rebar). Finally, 1-1.5 inches of mild steel and .5 to .75 inches of armor plate steel. BTW this is solid core ball ammunition. Wonder what an armor piercing round would do?
