these kids today and parents. I have to admit I let my kids get by with a lot of stuff but disrespecting in public wasn't one of them. someone could have tripped over that little man especially an elderly person. I would have picked up my child and headed to the door and took him home and then he would be disciplined. act like that and no shopping trips especially if he had a toy in the buggy or basket. today you can't discipline in public without DSS coming into your life. heck that's half the problem now. parents that are true parents and want to discipline correctly are scared to lose their child over it. noticed I said discipline correctly not abuse.

Dad might also be afraid to discipline his child in public because even a little spanking to some would be abuse. I grew up in the 70"s and if I ever did this at home or outside if the home my butt would have been so sore I wouldn't have sat down for a few days. This is why kids nowadays are lazy and disrespectful. Most of them are coddled because we wouldn't want to hurt their feelings. Part of the new parenting techniques that you can do what you want and everyone is a winner even if they aren't.
