I disagree with someone who left a comment I don't know what state you live in but I would like to know so I know to never!, ever live there. it's a such thing called the Privacy Act and in the state I live in law enforcement cannot come on your private property nor in your home without a warrant your door can be wide open they still cannot enter they must stay on the porch announce themselves loudly to see if anyone is there now if they suspect that you may be hurt then they can proceed with caution however once you appear and tell them to vacate the premises they must do so immediately even though they don't that's why a lot of people have cameras everywhere. it's a good investment for now

The majority of the people do not know this just like it. A couple of months ago Ozark County, sheriff's department came to my neighbor's house and they were wandering around his property. I'm looking in the shop around his backyard around his house. Looking in all his old vehicles. Until they saw me standing in my yard, watching them and they immediately left. Because they know they can't do that, but that's okay. Because what they didn't realize was that my neighbor has 3 trail cameras set up, aint got them all on video and filed a complaint and all of a sudden, the harassment stopped. Because he had evidence against them now.

In warrant, read probable cause. A warrant is a document produced when a judge agrees there is probable cause, solidifying their ability to enter. If there is clear probably cause, like seeing something illegal from a safe area, police being called for an immediate issue, or a safety concern, warrants may be skipped, depending on the situation. Warrants are not a necessity, it is a defense against legation.
