Because when you walk around your walking on Pee, spit, vomit . Food , gum I could go on and on the things that you could step on and then you bring it into the house it’s disrespectful in lots of cultures.I live in Hawaii and there is a pile of shoes outside because it’s but barefoot most the time so you would have a problem there.
