They told you it was just a tense moment at an awards show… but Denzel Washington’s cold, deliberate snub of Jay-Z reveals a deep spiritual war between the awakened and the initiated in Hollywood.#fyp #ingodwetrust

It's sad, I see a lot of newcomers that charge professional prices for shoddy work There's still those who learned from their dad, their uncle, or grandfather, but a lot of them today watch an amateur filming himself doing a job for the 1st time himself on U-Tube & think that they know enough to charge like a pro. That's where I came in to come behind them& fix the problems they created. It's usually older people that don't know prices for work & trust they know what they are doing. I'm 67 doing construction work since I was 16, done about everything on a house. I'm disabled now but still help friends & family with things that others screwed up. I tell them I start out slow & get slower as I go throughout the day. I'll make a little. A lot of times, I'll break even just to help out. America has a shortage of true craftsmen.
Hey maga… that’s how it should look when a guy steps in a knows what he’s doing. Just saying. He didn’t knock down the whole thing blame someone else and bring in someone less qualified then take credit it for it.
so he flips a trowel
old dude was smooth with it I love this you never know what someone is capable of just by looking at them
n0w thats a master mason!!
There’s nothing better than older people who have a wonderful attitude and trade we could learn from these masters like you to have a good neighbor like that🥰
Actually, you just watched somebody who is not a professional the brick did not have the appropriate amount of mortar before it was set
My dad was a brick layer in his time he started at the age of about 16 in old Mexico but learned the trade and all his life until he retired that’s all he ever did . It’s good money but very hard work in all types of weather ..!! He would help out the family in some projects and taught some of my cousins the trade . He could break a brick in any size , shape that he wanted with one blow !! It’s Wa so cool too watch that .
Exactly. After an earthquake in SoCal our living room lath and plaster wall had a 20’ long crack diagonally from floor to ceiling. There aren’t many skilled workers left that can fix this problem. We get this guy who comes over to give an estimate. He was like 80 years old, nice white beard, kinda small in stature, could have played grandpa on a black comedy show. Nicest guy. He then came to do the work and brought his great grandson with him. They patched the crack that you needed a before and after picture to see where it had been. Job was done well for a good price. But it was nice to see the skills being passed to a new generation.
Old school knowledge. Earned, can't buy it.
THIS is what's missing in society today. The handing down of trades VOLUNTARILY. MANY things simply CAN NOT be learned in schools. ON THE JOB TRAINING, HAS TO, go along with an education, or the education is WASTED !!!
New guys used to like to spin their hammers like six shooters. They got fired. Too many standing around spinning hammers.
American Hero right there❣️👏🏼👏🏼
US OLD TIMERS KNOW HOW ITS DONE,,,,,,,,,,PAY ATTENTION
This is exactly how we had a professional mason come along when we had a carpenter trying to enlarge our window on our brick house. Saw him struggling and botching the job. He just couldn’t stand watching. We hired him on the spot to do the brick work. He did a beautiful job.
Of course old school comes around and showed them how to do it without hesitation!!
It’s ashamed that this younger generation thinks they’ve been there and done Everything 😂😂😂🥴
this is legendary brick mason. you never going to find someone like him on this time.. my respect and I'm happy cause I learnd seen one of them working..
The way he fips/ twirls the trowel and the confidence he exhibits is taking over the job SCREAMS that this ain't his first rodeo!!! 🤣🤣🤣😎
1st slide of mud u already seen his skill surpassed the worker
.
Just reliving the glory days.
It's good to see a pro step in and pass some knowledge along . I wish everyone still took pride in their work.
layed so much brick and block wore off 2 finger prints
I had several friends whom did block and break work over the yrs. When i was off i would go help them out over the yrs as a young man. Im 65 now and all them old timers are gone but not for gotten. Worked Construction my whole life and woked on Blueberry farms in South Jersey as a kid growing up also.
love watching an old tradesman get back into the grove.. something nobody can take away from you a trade.!!!
Damn they a little to close to that highway ( What's the speed limit 65) 🤔
A true master can never stop his passion.
he ain't new to this he's true to this
I heard it takes almost a year to learn how to become a brick 🧱 layer ?
he's got skill
Pops can Cook 👍🥰
Shuda hired a camdude wita mic, dude😆👍
Homes so close to a busy road...🤔🤔🤔
you don't see this too often! People helping each other. we as a proud country, should be doing more of this with each other and maybe it would spread, and also other countries!
Let the pro show you!
You see old school sling mud on that brick he knows what he’s doing
he's retired from masonry and had too 💕
I like when he said, "oih". 😆
looks terrible still
pretty cool
now he's gonna stand over his shoulder and tell him how things were in 82 when the only guys worth their weight ate mortar like oatmeal
That’s an old OG MASON , not too many of em around anymore 💪🏻🫡🫡🫡
that's a brick layer there .
COOL CAT.. LOL 😆
Reminds me of my dad. He would've done this too. Friendly guy.
Get neighbor to help out!
As soon as he spun that trowel I would have hired him on the spot!
