so this happened almost a year ago on 64 in North Carolina. the truck bed was empty and raised at the time of the crash. so the bed hit the sign and separated from the truck. yes this is real not AI

That’s an end dump trailer that lifts that high each time it unloads. It only takes two actions by the driver to unload and what usually happens in that situation is the guy leaves his power take-off engaged after unloading, then as he’s flying down the highway, bumps the switch to r lever that engages the hydraulic pump. And since he NEVERlooks in his mirrors, collides with the first low clearance object in his path. It’s a lack of experience and paying attention to WTF is going on.
Be nice to the truckers please. Don’t tick them off. They’ve got important jobs to do in hauling massive amounts of materials and goods to assist others. Think of them as part of our national good. Be respectful.

Not really an accident. This particular driver was driving with the trailer lifted and ran into the signs. Either new or dumb.

actually the bridge is the right height the driver just forgot to lower the box it's not like the first time this ever happened I've seen it a lot lately the company will definitely pay a big fine for this mistake probably his last day on the job and we not even talking about the bill for having the express way down for hours and the replacement for the sign yeah a big hit for the company and it's insurance company.
