That is cool but sugar doesn’t cost that much. I assume he tapped his own maple tree to do this. Syrup from the tree comes in different grades. A jar of grade A syrup would be more if purchasing than a bag of sugar so it is useful if you know how to collect your own but not buying syrup to make it. If you have maple trees then where is the video for tapping? Just a side note that tray is not a cookie tray, it’s a jelly roll tray. Cookie trays are flat. Jelly roll trays have a lip.
