Two women arrested after Beaumont officer sustains serious injury in bar parking lot.A disturbance at Little Woodrow's on Phelan Boulevard early this morning resulted in a serious injury to a Beaumont Police officer.Around 1:40 a.m., officers responded to the disturbance. While attempting to detain an individual, the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, prompting the the officer to stop the convertible then falling off the vehicle causing a head injury.
