The man sitting was not shot, he threw himself back to use his strength to get all the way up when he heard the door being unlocked. If my home had just been invaded and I was alone and there was a deadman inside of it, I’d probably run to my neighbors in the same matter for help as well.

I thought for self defense you had to be in fear for your life the person had to be coming at you in your home with or even without a weapon.
