Had a guy in class cutting a short, capped, six inch pipe when he inadvertently extinguished the torch, he paused to look around to see if anybody noticed and when he sparked it back up the accumulated gasses exploded taking out a wall calendar and most of the students beard. Good times.

used to do that in the '80s Precision wood products Vancouver Washington we built pallets the mechanic would get the gases from the welding torch put it in the balloon use newspaper as a fuse pallets will go flying 20 ft in the air the good old days
so not dangerous. just loud. we used to fill milk jugs and put fuzed in the screw on tops to scare each other. they would be right next to the person and myself.....no one ever was injured.
We use to fill a big black bag and tie a rope to it and drag it through a fire haha brought back some memories. I Had the police at my house several times 😂😂
