We do this on the Arkansas River in Tulsa, too. People "buy" a duck. Each duch has a number on the bottom of it. If your duck is the first to cross the finish line, you win! It's like a fun raffle and a great way to raise money. It's hilarious to watch people cheering their duck on when nobody really knows which duck is theirs until the end!
Why are they putting rubber duckies in the water and where are they doing this and how long have they been doing this?
