Fuck a degree! LEARN A TRADE!!! Something that will be worth it in the end. Stop wasting your parents' money on garbage you're NEVER gonna use or be able to use. Most employers don't even bother with that because they know you will ask for too much, and they'd much rather hire lower to save themselves money. Not all but most... 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🫡🫡🫡
my daughter has 2 degrees and can't get a job in her field. My 2 granddaughters have degrees and no job in their fields.
You should only go to college if you plan on entering a specific field like teaching, medicine, nursing, engineering, accounting, etc. Don’t go to college without a plan, you’re just wasting your time and money you probably don’t have. We also need to get institutions of higher learning out of the habit of making you take electives that you don’t need and focusing more on what you do need for your specific field. They’re only making money for themselves and not helping you.
I'm 60, have a truck bed full of hand tools and have made close to 100k if not more every year since I got out of the air force at age 25. live simple, in a cabin in the sticks and livin' life every day. good luck cos the world will always need laborers
these days trade schools are a better idea. we are running out of people that choose to do things with their hands and more and more people want to sit in front of a computer screen to make a living.

Why would u post that college isn't necessary? it is necessary for ALoT of higher positions in most places...obviously experience sometimes trumps education. but they work hand in hand sumtimes as well. while it will ONLY help you to learn more about what you like to do. but yes it will help you no matter where you go. it looks better than . yep all I did was go to high school and work odd jobs etc etc. unless you are starting Your OWN business . i think it is essential depending on what you have in your plans. everyone has different plans and some are 100% needed to have college education. ijs it depends on what U want to do and how far u want to go. not everyone has rich family to start business....

I got an associate degree in computer science at a private college. That was all I needed to get started. I was better as a beginner programmer than many who had been in the business for 10 years. Natural talent. Find what you love and go for it.
I have two degrees and two certifications.it does help
the only time in our life when school actually teach useful things is in preschool when they teach reading and numbers 😭
