Man, I've watched this over and over and the respect given from one soldier to the other is so amazing it brings me to tears.. Thank you for your service!

This video is stolen. I’ve seen the original. The soldier came back from deployment and his dad wouldn’t shake his hand. He wants to show joes respect and stand up and salute his son.

When you approach a veteran the first thing you say is may I shake your hand. Thank you for your service is the next thing you need to say. Then you can inquire if their spouse is still alive From when they served. You extend your thanks to the spouse because they served in a different way keeping the household together, Taking care of the children And being there when they got out of the service. Being a counselor and a shoulder To lean on during some of the dark times that they experienced while they were in the service. So veterans thank you very much for your service to our country
