I've been with my wife a total of 21 years (since highschool). we have had hard ups and downs. A good marriage should have the ups outweigh downs. My mother and father are the type who have all downs and very few ups. My mother the problem. She don't love him. She is with him still cause she sees it like a job...a retirement package....he has life insurance. She isn't about to pass that up. My dad sits there and takes it. He is an example of how some people will get manipulated by growing up thinking its the normal. That's why you hear some people say "Once you marry them, your life is over...".......when it should be a stronger better purpose...."once you get married, your life becomes much better having that one standing next to you"
in 23yrs there had to be times when they both were unhappy but they stayed together cause the love they have for each other is stronger than a lil part of being in an argument that may only last a day or 2 that ain't worth ending 30yrs of love like he said this mine and she gonna stay mine he ain't gonna let something ruin what they built together
