My husband and I were renting a house for the last 10 years. $1500 a month for rent. Landlord refused to fix anything. Cabinet doors are falling apart. We weren't even allowed so much to buy a toilet seat without the the word throwing a fit. When we needed it, he refused to fix anything. Even when the wall and the ceiling starts separating, the only reason he fixed. The roof was because the home owner's association didn't like the way that it looked and we lived in a very high class neighborhood. So the landlord finally fixed the roof because the home owner's association got on his a** about it.That's the only thing he fixed.We just bought a house three weeks ago I paid less on my mortgage than what I paid for rent and I can do what the fuck I want in my own house and I can fix things when they break instead of having a slum lord
Btw if you buy a car you pay sales tax on it. If you sell it back to the dealer, he pays sales tax on it. When the dealer sells it again, the new owner pays sales tax on it. If he sells it to his neighbor, the neighbor pays sales tax on it, etc etc etc
