If people stopped acting as if the whole road is their driveway things like this wouldn't happen. As long as people continue with this mindset, accidents like this will be a common occurance.
where I come from especially when there is a high traffic situation you always check your mirror and look behind you to make sure you have at least a few seconds to be able to get out of your car let alone Open Your Door she wasn't paying attention now she doesn't have a door

No anticipation is present in some drivers.To prepare for the unexpected.Like driving too fast in narrow spaces just in case something pops out.Or to close behind other drivers as well as speeding in blind spot area's etc etc.
I don't understand why they drive so fast. if you can park on the side, it should be 20 or 25! I always look, though, when getting out of my car. I also know 20 or 25 is still fast even when you are sitting.

I would say 90% car 10% her or whoever open the door. The guy in the car was way too close to the cars that were parked. The driver of the other car slowly open her door so it wasn’t like she flung it open.
I live in Puerto Rico, that happens a lot here, drivers just swing their doors open before checking first! And here most of our streets are narrow...
