The parents need to be held accountable. How could she drive that far? Who taught her to drive? How did she get four hundred dollars to go shopping?

Please do not laugh at this misconduct and lack of parental responsibility. This is a child who in many cases might still require a car seat or booster as a passenger, stealing the keys to a car, driving a distance to a store to go on a shopping spree. Parents have not taught her right from wrong. If she was 15 or 16, she would have been charged with failure to have a license to drive and stealing a vehicle, perhaps even reckless operation of a vehicle. She would be headed to juvenile court instead of having pictures of a smiling delinquent behind the wheel of a car. Thank God she didn't injure or kill someone, but she definitely broke the law!!!
