I understand the reason behind her actions,she not being funny selfish no rude or greedy.family eat together & why should she cook if everyone feels that phone's are important than family communicating at dinner time.

She should package that up and take it to the first homeless person she sees, then go to the movies by herself. Me? I wouldn't cook a damned thing until I got a sincere apology from every single one of them. I sure the hell wouldn't tell them "what this is all about?", because you know that's what they are going to ask.
I'm not spending all that time cooking to be treated like this. my kids are 23, 18, 14 & 5. None of them treat me like this, and my youngest is autistic and special needs
I’m glad to be GenX. I have the privilege to say that our “family meals” were just that… FAMILY MEALS. We talked about each others day, we gave thanks to our mom for a home cooked meal.. can’t say it was ALWAYS pleasant conversation tho! Definitely been reprimanded at the dinner table for some fuck up in school, bad grade, even staying out late (10 minutes past the street lights coming on). THIS is how it SHOULD be, ALWAYS. I think GenY is the last of the wholesome family values

This is truly sad. As a child at the table our parents would say to us, "yall stop talking at the table and finish eating." Yall can talk about that when you go outside. My children came in that cell phoneless era also. I miss hearing that talking and laughing while I prepared meals for my babies. Lord, thank you.😌

My husband watches stupid videos every time we eat. His cell phone prevents us from ever having any fun or serious. Obviously, videos of a guy scaring people while dressed like a green bush are more important than me.
