We were going to have a bonfire at our high school when I was younger and had palletes stacked a day before. 3 of the loser kids in school thought it would be funny to set them on fire the night before. They poured gas all over it, and when they lit it, it blew up like that but bigger and louder. The gas vapors get trapped, and that's what happened. It blew out a bunch of windows to our school and a few other nearby buildings. They were easily caught, and I'm not sure what their penalty was, but they weren't expelled.
