Leave Veterans alone! A lot of the older vets live in their head, especially Vietnam. All that laughing but you don’t realize most lived in gore during a draft, you will never experience. My dad was Nam Vet, w/severe PTSD, always inside his head, hardly present. Was harassed one day by 20yo, the guy didn’t know, he had a Crocodile Dundee knife, he always kept knives sharpened on him since Nam. He was a scout in a platoon ordered to cleared villages ahead of company. Basically killing w/ bare hands coz it was quieter. When fight/flight response kicks in, it’s kill or be killed, imagine putting that back into society and here you come poking for giggles. My Dad stabbed the guy, nearly cut the guys face off and scalped him. He was 70yrs old at the time and the dude was a 20yo. Now he got a disfigured face and scars…. they deserve the peace you living in too. A lot live in guilt, trauma and addiction for things they probably wouldn’t have done if they were not drafted.
