I lived like this my whole childhood. messed me up pretty good. just now becoming a fully functional adult at 32. you do not start healing until you are away from all of that. right now you and your siblings are in survival mode. your brains are not developing like they should because of this. if you have any other family you should stay with them

I'm 51 years old and still have nightmares of my childhood watching my stepfather choking out my mother beating on her beating on me broke multiple bones of mine he would grab me by my rest and try to throw me and then yank me back and dislocate my shoulder his favorite thing was to come home drunk from work I don't know how he gets the beer but he got it and beat the living s*** out of me and my mother he hated me because I wasn't his real son well I settled it as I got older I confronted him and he thought that I was still that little scared boy well he found out real quick that this little boy grew up to a man

Speaking from experience, growing up with parents like this is stressful. Both my parents were horrible to each other in front of us as kids and remained the same to this day. They are miserable, to say the least. Our mom always blamed us as kids as to why she stayed. All 5 of us are adults now, and guess what, I'm the only one who is on their own. One of my younger brothers is in prison for murder, while the other three siblings are home, STILL. Did mom ever leave? Nope. She lives in the same trailer she always kicked my dad out of, and my dad lives right next to her fence in another RV trailer. To the person who posted the video, I hope you report this to the cops.
