☝🏿Mockery of so-called black history. A group of so-called black men called the Gandy Dancers were called upon to straighten out the tracks because ever so often they would shift. Nowadays there's a machine that does it. There's a video circulating on social media of them in action, singing as they worked. The video proves that there was no melting pot of people who built the railroad because if there were surely they would have been able to find a video showing multiple races at work. Still, photos do not depict the overall history of who worked on and built the railroad. Video, however, does.
