Happened all my life living here in mid cities area sun showers happen and are usually very hard rain and don’t last very long.

He showing only a small part of the sky. If he stepped out and filmed what above or behind him there is either a large storm or even just a single rain cloud, creating a sun shower. As someone who works outside, these storms were a nice reprieve from the triple digit heat. Albeit a short lived one.
