I saw the video. The Cop banged on the door and Loudly announced that he was Law Enforcement. What that irresponsible Airman did was not announce that he was armed....but just opened the door with a firearm in his hand. I don't know if that Airman just got to Florida, but we are a Law and Order State. Learn the Rules of how to conduct yourself in Florida. Ignorance is not an option.
Disgraceful that cops react the way they do in these situations. And if they are so afraid of civilians with guns then instead of supporting the current gun craze they should support less access to guns. Because in this case the good guy with the gun was killed because the other good guy with the gun couldn’t tell that he was facing a good guy with a gun. Common occurrence these days and apparently being sent to the wrong address is also…..Somebody beating on my door I’m not going to answer and even if I did hear them say police I’m not going to open it because anybody can say they are the police. Being a woman, I’m going to call the police and ask if they sent someone out. Probably by that time I’m dead.
