A man once told me it a certain kind of person to drive a truck. At the time I really didn't think much about it. Well fifty one years later I just have to say he was right. He taught me to respect a truck. There were times I got so mad at him, well everything he said and taught me came back to help me a lot.
The professional truck drivers are few and far between. Older folks will remember when they were the knights of the road. Remember how they would stop and assist whenever a person required help on the road. All would signal lane changes and also clear to do so. They would make an effort to keep the left lane open on the highways. Now, they are the denizens of the highway who believe others are simply in the way. Sorry, truckers, most of USa remember the good guys but are in fear of you now. It has become an occupation of people who can't speak English, are indifferent to others on the road, and aren't professional anymore. Think about it, how many kids give you the "blow the horn" signal anymore. Like most things, I cherish the old days when people respected and helped each other.

you have to have good driving from good Cdl school it takes time to learn to drive these big rigs ? and some people just real lucky to just drive them with no problems 💯 the others end up like this ? and fired 😂 thank God no one got hurt !!

This is the result of government interference by forcing the CDL's on the drivers, which forced way too many drivers into early retirement! These trucking companies still have the same amount of freight to haul, but with a whole lot less drivers to haul it. Everyone should see now, even more than before - EVERYTHING the politicians touch turns to $HIT! The Trucking Industry was no exception! If you want your company to be a successful business, #1, Always treat them fairly and never tolerate a sorry management team! #2, Never allow a union to be voted in. Treat employees fairly and boot bad managers out the door and you will never need to worry about a union. If faced with a possible union, sit back, take names of the problem employees...Also keep names and take notes of the better employees. Go OUT OF BUSINESS for however long it takes, Which is only a regroup for said business. Reopen the business

When my ex was learning truck driving one thing they taught was when turning in an intersection you go straight to the middle the turn right or left . It should be a square turn not curve. That’s when you take out the curve and everything in the vicinity.😟

With More and more of these round a bouts going in, they are making it more difficult for Truckers.. I have seen some of these in the most ridiculous places. There is one on a major road. Before this roundabout, it was a straight shot south, but because some drivers would not stop when getting to the intersection, a round about was put in. The roundabout was not built for the Big Rigs. Causing more incidents at the NEW AND IMPROVED WAY. There are places where the roundabout makes sense, but not on a major roadway.
