Every race at one time or another has suffered under another at one time in history. The slaves were brought here at a time in that history when many countries had slaves and it was thought to be okay. Times have changed, Thankfully, and our beliefs have also. We've all benefited from those changes but cannot change what happened. But, where would the descendants of those slaves that suffered greatly be today if that never had happened? My heritage is no different, some in my past also suffered to allow me to be where I am today. To them I am thankful.
