Order has to be restored in society. I am a former homeless man. I had to accept that my vices put me there and that only I could pull my boot straps up and be on my grown ass man. I had children to raise and was my duty as a father to provide a safe living environment for my children. Self-improvement is a must, and it is the basis for community development. we are not in a no mad society anymore. You can't just go anywhere and set up a tent in public or private places, so it is the duty or the local government to deal with this no the president
I used to be homeless in Washington DC back in 2004 and again in 2013, so I know the feeling, stay strong my brothers and sisters out there

this is so sad yes being homeless CAN be a choice but some are older the shelter services make them leave during the day with still nowhere to go so most chose to stay outside there are so many abandoned buildings in the DC area why not make it homes for the homeless? ppl will volunteer

Many of them are not in shelters because they can't keep their potbull dogs there, or use drugs.
Donald Trump gave them a week's notice. gave them services to taking take care of them and find them a new place to live. those people that are living in those tents decided to stay there. they did not want to move. that is why that stuff was removed. don't sit there and play out like the Trump regime did something bad to these people. he tried to help him. they didn't want them but they had to go

THEY ARE picked up and put into hospitals and mental hospitals for mental check and if okay are put in rehabs for drugs and if not on drugs put into homless shelters and hospitals and nursing homes and family's are contacted if there is family. It's that simple .They are not being harmed.

This is so sad; they need a more humane approach. Tossing people's only belongings because they don't have a fixed address is bordering on cruel.
There are places the homeless can go, they choose not to. They just can't set up camp in the sideways and parks. We pay to keep it nice not all trashed.

I worked in the DC jail, and guys would rather stay incarcerated than go to those shelters. We would drop them off when released after 10 pm. They would walk in then we would see them walking away.
