It is less risky with these fine service members.
First time in 15 years you can walk down the street at night and not be mugged.
I have been working in the city for years starting work as early as midnight. The Soldiers are not bothering anyone and they keep to themselves unless they have to intervene. Honestly having them around takes some of the work load off of the police force.
Good Job, keep it up. The Nation’s Capital should be crime free.

I think you're confusing the military with local police. in my 49 years I have been stopped by police checkpoints more times than I can count but, I have never had to encounter a military checkpoint If I was not accessing in military facility 🤷🏻
